What is PSYCH-K®?
PSYCH-K® is a gentle, collaborative process that supports stress reduction and helps transform limiting subconscious beliefs into beliefs that are more aligned with the life you want to create.
Developed in 1988 by Rob Williams, it brings together principles from neuroscience, psychology and mind-body approaches to help create an ideal state for positive belief change.
Rather than relying on willpower alone, we work with the subconscious mind, the part of us that influences many of our automatic thoughts, emotions, habits and behaviours.
When your subconscious beliefs are aligned with your conscious goals, creating change often feels easier, more natural and more sustainable.
Why the subconscious matters
One of the biggest lessons I've learnt through years of working with clients is that lasting change rarely happens when we're in a state of stress or survival.
When the nervous system begins to feel safe, the mind and body become far more open to change. Creating that sense of safety is at the heart of the way I work.
Our subconscious mind is incredibly powerful. It stores many of the beliefs and patterns we've accumulated throughout our lives, often without us even realising it.
You might consciously believe you're ready to speak up, back yourself, grow your business, improve your health or create healthier relationships. But if a deeper part of you believes you're not enough, that change isn't safe, or that you'll fail, those old patterns can continue to influence your choices.

Why I now offer this instead of hypnotherapy
Many people ask why I no longer offer hypnotherapy.
The answer is simple.
While I saw wonderful results with hypnosis, over time I found myself increasingly drawn to PSYCH-K® because of how gentle, collaborative and efficient it is. In my experience, it allows us to work directly with subconscious beliefs while you remain fully awake, aware and actively involved throughout the process. I love that we work together as a team. There is no need to ‘go under’ or simply receive a process. Instead, you're an active participant as we explore what's holding you back, reduce stress around those patterns and support beliefs that are more aligned with the life you want to create.
I've found this beautifully complements the kinesiology sessions I offer, which is why it has become my preferred approach for subconscious belief work.
What happens during a session?
Every session begins with a conversation.
We'll explore what you'd like to change, where you feel stuck and what outcome you'd love to create.
Using the PSYCH-K® process, we'll identify beliefs that may no longer be supporting you and work towards beliefs that are more aligned with your goals and values. This isn't about forcing change. It's about creating the internal conditions that allow change to feel possible.
You'll leave with practical, aligned actions to help reinforce the new beliefs in everyday life, because lasting transformation comes from both the internal shift and the choices we make afterwards.
A PSYCH-K® balance may be incorporated into your kinesiology session whenever it's appropriate, or you may choose to book an entire session dedicated to subconscious belief work.
